Day 6 was one of our more relaxing days in Colorado.
Grandma Karen made homemade "Tagalongs"....soooooo good!
Porter eating something...as usual
The Guys left early to go fishing (yuck), we weren't awake for that and no one brought a camera on the boat, so here they are after the trip.
Wow...2 fish. Way to go guys! Luckily Johnny bought some hotdogs and brats for those of us (me) who didn't want to eat the fish.
Since we stayed home to watch the kids while the guys fished we decided to treat ourselves to a little ladies outing. First stop....CUPCAKES!!!!! I'm not excited in this picture at all.
Here we are with our choices
Next stop - pedicures. It only took us about 2 hours to get to this place, that was only 15 minutes away. How you ask? DUMB GPS!!!! Why would you lead us to someone's home instead of to this place? Ahhh. Well, after I had a few conversations with strangers, we made it! Here are Michelle and Lauren.
Me, with my heavy reading
Momma, always prepared with a book
Later that night, our dinner at home. What would we do without Johnny? Thanks for grilling in the rain for us!
Brandon took charge of the fish
Enjoying the grub
Mmmmm
The other table
Grandma's finished product!
We all gathered to watch What About Bob? Here are Grandma and Grandpa having a snuggle with Ian and Kylee....oh and I made it into the pic as well...oops.
Kylee couldn't cut it and had to be carried to bed by her dad.
Day 7
John and Karen woke up bright and early to meet one of John's former co-workers and husband for breakfast.
Michelle, Kylee and Ian left early to go visit one of Michelle's cousins a couple of hours away
And the rest of us (minus Grandma and Porter) left for a white water rafting trip!
We went through rapids 1-3 and it was a blast! No cameras on the raft...I think for obvious reasons, but they had a camera strategically placed during one of the rapids so they could suck some more money out of us (and by us, I mean Johnny), by purchasing the pics taken.
Jake and Brandon in the front, then me and Johnny, then Gavin in the middle and Lauren in the back on the edge. And our guide in the very back.
Our raft wasn't big enough for all of us, so Bridger and Tyler drew the short straws and got to raft with this "non-english-speaking" family. They are in the front of the raft (if you couldn't tell), both working very hard.
While we were gone (for almost 10 hours), Grandma and Porter played. Thank you Mom, for taking one for the team and staying home with Porter!
Lunchtime
Coasters make great toys
Stroller ride with Grandma
Fun with rocks

And sticks

How can I get this in my mouth the fastest?
Yum!
Fun on the porch
Let me out of here!
Then, we all enjoyed pizza for dinner, which Porter was particularly excited about.

Intense with the white water rafting. That was super nice of your mom to stay back with little Porter.
See you soon!
