I just want to fly

Porter went on his first airplane ride about 3 weeks ago. Grandma and Grandpa Thurston were nice enough to fly us to Utah so we could go to Jacey's baby shower (where we also celebrated some birthdays and also graduation for Jacey and 2 other cousins) and also attend her graduation from BYU! Yay Jacey! Thanks for having such a special weekend so Porter and I could have a little get-away. Unfortunately, Jake was stuck at home going to school....wah wah.

I didn't document the occasion like I should have, but here are a couple of shots of Porter just before he drifted off to sleep for the last 45 mins of the flight. We lucked out that the flight wasn't full so we got to bring his carseat on-board.
The next day was the baby shower. We had it at Sweet Tomatoes and there were, I think, over 35 family members and friends there. There was so much going on I didn't even come close to capturing all of the fun, but here are some pics (a lot) of the night.

Porter made fast friends with Quinn. He is even sharing his food with him. So sweet.

What a fun night!

First flight & party in Provo looked like a huge success. You captured all of the magic. Did Porter even sleep that night after all of the sugar?

Way to go Brittney. Good blog with lots of pictures that captured the moment. Its interesting to look at Jacey and now know that even then she was in pre-eclampsia. You can see the swollen face that is not the normal "pregnant" mommy face. Love the shot of Joe. Thanks for the capture.

I'm glad he was good on his first flight! Sleeping babies are the best kind on an airplane.
