Going Home

Porter and I flew home on Saturday evening. We got to the airport pretty early because I got mixed up on what time our flight left. So when we got there I found an empty gate where Porter and I could hang out for awhile. Fortunately for me, Porter thought this was the most fun place ever! He had a great time.

We finally headed over to our gate and I found that me and half of the stake (ok maybe only about 10 or 12 people) were on our flight home. A friend from my ward was there (who was actually on my same flight to SLC) and I was able to pass the time by chatting with her. Unfortunately, during this time, I should have been videoing Porter because he was walking like crazy all over the place. He has been walking a lot at home and for short distances, but he just took off at the airport!

We got lucky on our flight home, it wasn't very full so we got to bring the carseat on and we had our row all to ourselves!

I am so glad Kody and Wendy flew us out to SLC to spend time with Jacey and Thomas during their exciting weekend. Little did we know...the real excitement was about to begin less than 48 hours later.....
