Last Wednesday I introduced Porter to one of my first loves. Baseball. I am a huge fan and before I met Jake, I may have even been "groupie" status, although, I would like to just say mega-fan. We got to take advantage of some of my step-dad's tickets and go see the Diamondbacks play the Padres.
Before we got to our seats, a sweet usher saw Porter and asked if it was his first game, we said yes and she said she was going to bring him a button and took one of our tickets so she could know where to bring it. Here Porter is showing it off.

Porter also got his first D-backs cap
(not free like the button, but free for us, thanks Grandma Karen!)
The only way we could get him to keep it on was to keep his hands full, luckily he thoroughly enjoyed the button and ticket.

Porter was such a good boy the whole game and enjoyed playing with the cup holders in front of us. I'm sure they were super clean and sanitized...

It was so great because this guy even wore his jersey in honor of Porter's first game, so sweet. Actually no, this is Bo Porter, the D-backs 3rd base coach, but still fun.
(you might have to click on it to see it bigger)

Overall, a really fun family night for us, especially because the D-backs won 5-3!!!
(People were making weird faces at us while we were taking this pic, after I reviewed it, I realized why. Thanks Jake.)

Darling family and glad to see he's already a baseball fan. We're doing great here. Are you still in Fountain Hills? How old is your little boy?
Porters first ballgame! I love your groupie stories, parking with the players and all of the perks that came with it!
Believe it or not, I actually enjoy baseball games, and I'm going to a football game with Dan tonight. Pick yourself up off the floor, lady!
By the way, I lost my phone. I got another, but lost all my contacts, so shoot me a text when you get a chance.
I'm loving your blog! Could it be because of that very cute grandson of mine...? Oh, and so sorry about your "special" husband, Brittney!
